Lisa is a certified yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance. She was awarded a 200- hour yoga teacher certification from Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. She has been practicing different types of yoga for over 6 years.
Lisa started her formal study of yoga with Ron Katwijk at the Magic Pond Yoga School while living in Seoul, South Korea and teaching English at Sungkyunkwan University. She completed the Basic and Teacher Training courses (360+ hours) and over 120 hours of Master Training Course with Shri Yogacharya Ajita at The Raja Yoga Institute in Holland.
Lisa’s personal path into her true study of yoga study began during a particularly challenging time in her life. The support and strength she found through yoga inspired her to continue to deepen her practice and to pursue sharing it with others. Her Hatha classes range from gentle to vigorous, sometimes incorporating Vinyasa flows and traditional Ashtanga poses. What is consistent in all of her teaching is deep compassion, connection with the breath, cultivation of body awareness and acceptance, and the invitation to be more conscious of your inner wisdom through self-inquiry and exploration of your edge.
